During the First Gulf War (1990-1991), I served with
Headquarters 3rd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment
in the S-3. Assigned as the Abrams Master Gunner,
I also served as the Assistant Operations Sergeant
and Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC) of
the Jump Tactical Operations Center (TOC) . Our Officer
In Charge (OIC) was Captain Mark Engelbaumn, an outstanding
officer and individual.
